NITEC (Northern Illinois Technology Enterprise Center) was formed to support the commercialization of new technologies and the growth of technology-based enterprises in the Northern Illinois region.
Funded by Northern Illinois University (NIU), NITEC works to accelerate and help University and local entrepreneurs as well as early-stage and existing companies develop clear paths to technology commercialization.
With the collaboration of NIU and our resource network, NITEC helps researchers, inventors and entrepreneurs build the infrastructure to support the development of groundbreaking technologies.
